Nancy is a qualified Lipspeaker, Lipspeaker with Sign and Electronic Notetaker for Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults.  As part of her qualifications Nancy has undergone training to ensure she follows the code of conduct to work in a professional, ethical, helpful and flexible manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times being mindful of the importance of the role she is engaged in.

Nancy has over 20 years experience in Hotel Management where she completed her CIPD – HR Masters qualification.  This is also where she started her love for British Sign Language when she passed BSL L1 back in 2006.  She did this to enable her to communicate with deaf guests that visited her hotel.

Based in the New Forest with partner Jon and little boy Sam, they too are huge ambassadors of the D/deaf world raising awareness with charity events and deaf socials.   Nancy travels regularly from the Forest for clients in Bristol, London, Fleet and beyond.
